Letter from PA President

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the Parent’s Auxiliary, I would like to welcome every parent to the 2011/2012 school year.

The Parents Auxiliary is here to serve all the Cadets of NYMA. This past school year we had our best year ever, sponsoring events as diverse as pizza nights and birthday celebrations to a full day of paintball and numerous off campus trips. Remember, as a NYMA parent you are automatically a member of the Parents Auxiliary, and we want to hear from you.

Our calendar of events is posted on the NYMA website, and we are looking for volunteers who would be willing to help setup and chaperone activities. Whether it is working as a chaperone, decorating, setting up equipment, or serving snacks, I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible throughout the school year.

If you can’t make an event in person, we are always looking for help with some planning and organizing details. The officers of the PA meet at least once a month, and we will be posting minutes with requests for help. If there is ever anything you wish to contribute, do not hesitate to let me, or one of the other PA officers know.

With some hard work, and a little help and planning, we can make this another memorable year for the Cadets at New York Military Academy.
